Cookie Notice
This notice explains how maigrex.com uses cookies. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
The short version
We use only the cookies the site needs to work. Reading this website sets no cookies. Submitting one of our two forms sets a single session cookie, described below. We do not use analytics cookies, we do not use advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. The maiGrex mobile app contains no advertising cookies and no ad tracking.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file a website stores on your device so it can remember something, such as the fact that you are signed in.
What this website uses
While you are reading, nothing. These are plain pages with no accounts and no third party scripts. If you check your browser's cookie list while browsing maigrex.com, it will be empty.
When you submit a form, one cookie. Pressing submit on the Founding Herd form or the contact form sets a single session cookie so the server can tell that the same browser is not sending the form over and over. It carries no information about you, it is not read for any other purpose, and it is gone when you close your browser. It is strictly necessary for the form to work, which is why there is no consent banner for it.
| Cookie | Purpose | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| Session | Rate limits form submissions to stop abuse of the contact and signup forms | Until you close your browser |
When the maiGrex web account portal opens, signing in there will require a small number of strictly necessary cookies:
| Purpose | Why it is needed | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
| Session | Keeps you signed in while you move between pages | Until you close your browser |
| Security | Protects forms against abuse and cross site request forgery | Session or short lived |
We will update this notice with the exact details before that portal goes live.
What we do not use
- No analytics or measurement cookies
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No social media tracking pixels
- No cross site or cross app tracking
- No third party fonts, tag managers, or embedded widgets
Do Not Track
Most browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. No uniform standard exists for it, so we do not respond to it. Since we do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is nothing for a Do Not Track signal to control.
Turning cookies off
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this website will break. Once the account portal exists, blocking its session and security cookies will prevent you from signing in.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or any cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this notice, update the Privacy Policy, and ask for your consent before setting it.
